Presentation Teaser - Wild Windsor: Celebrating Local Distinctiveness

Mita Williams has been long interested in the ideas of place and community and how one shapes the other and in my ten years in Windsor-Essex, she has come to care about this place and this community and its ideas. Join Mita to hear more about Wild Windsor, including: Dense blazing star; the 5-lined skink; sassafrass: they are all part of Windsor-Essex’s natural heritage. Residents need to care about these living things before we can expect them to take the steps needed to protect them. Mita wants to show some of the ways we could show local pride in our local distinctiveness.
